My name is Debbie Richardson. In the past, I have had other blogs depicting relevant times in my life. This is a very special time for me, a season in my life. I like to think of it as a Holiday Season, a time to celebrate, my senior years.
I am first and foremost a born-again Christian. All I am is because of God’s loving mercy. I am a mother, a grandmother and love these roles immensely. It is not my identity. Just Icing on a 7-layer cake.
I met my current husband in the spring of 2015. We are celebrating 9 years of marriage! This relationship is the most precious. Life has taught us so much with the passing of years. Mainly.. what does not work! He is a fellow believer, which deepens our marriage comittment.
We are adventurerers, love the outdoors, travel, theatre, and are both romantics at heart. We enjoy each day, but there is a gravity to knowing our years will be limited. Our decision is to grab life by the tail and enjoy every beautiful and crazy thing offered, while cherishing the simple, sweet moments.
My previous journaling and blogging go back to 2004. I am the author of the WordPress blog, “:Chronic Chaos.” In this blog, I share some of my earlier experiences and thoughts in living with a rare neurological disorder, Stiff Person Syndrome, better known with the diagnosis of Celine Dion. I also have the T1 Diabetes with Hashimoto’s also known as the Classic Variant of the syndrome. Ironically, I rock my labwork! I live with my diagnoses, not for them.
God’s grace, time, and love have seen a stabilization in my condition with an occasional hiccup! I am very blessed. Life is a buffet. I want to taste it all!

As I live forward in anticipation, I hope you join me! Life and God are good.
